How do you control, out of control kids?
Just started coaching 2nd n 3rd grade basketball...2 second grade boys are out of control..Hiting other kids, kicking balls and not willing to do as i ask.. The parent of the 2 kids even warned me about them, so its useless to talk to her...Anyone have any tips to control these kids?
with kids you have to earn their respect before they start to respect you. if you're good in basketball , you can lead by example and that usually gets their respect. other than that, if they're not will to listen just take all the basketballs away, make them do laps and threaten to not let them play bball unless they behave.. another way would to give them a serious ear full. but remember, they're just kids!
