Country Window Treatment
Are Lace Window Treatments ( Lace Curtains ) " Too Feminine " for a Mans Home/Apartment ?
I'm a " Straight Man " who was raised with a Mother who loved country style in our Home, and Lace was everywhere, and YES, I love the look, so I want to know, if I we're to hang Lace Window Treatments in my windows, is it " Too Feminine " looking ?
it all depends on how much others' opinions effect you. personally i think it's a tad feminine. on the other hand if you were to do all of your furniture in a colonial mode, it might be ok... especially in the blues. you don't say how old you are, or how long you've been away from the nest. it might be a good idea to shop till you drop in furniture stores looking at room set-ups...you may like a whole different look to express yourself. it seems you may already have your furniture pieces and that too will affect your selection as your furniture pretty much sets the mode for the accents and accessories you use. you haven't stated much on your furniture pieces at all. you certainly don't want a mish-mosh of just all the things you like on a whim with no continuity or theme. good luck. hope this helps some.
