Drape Drapery Curtain
Anyone else buy drapery for 8ft sliding glass doors?
What was the length of the curtains that you bought? Where did you purchase? It seems most drapes come in either 96inch (too short) or 108inch (too long)
The trim above the door is about 2.5inches so it makes the doors almost 99inches high.
Do I hang the rod over the trim? How much length do drapery hooks give?
96" should be long enough (unless you want your drapes hanging on the floor). Big, custom drapes can be expensive and hard to find. If I had windows that large, I would make them with a pretty fabric. Drapes are relatively easy to make. If you have more money to spend, you should look at interior design stores, as they often custom fit drapes, and most will come out and measure your windows and go over lots of fabric samples with you so you can pick the right ones for you decor choice.
