Can you help me with this similar triangle problem?
If two flagpoles are 10 m and 70 m tall and are 100 m apart, find the distance from the ground of the point where a line from the top of the first pole to the bottom of the second pole intersects a line from the bottom of the first to the top of the second.
Hahaha, that's confusing language, but the if you create a diagram it looks like two triangles facing each other, squished together, and they share a bottom leg.

y/(100 - x) = 10/100
10y = 100 - x
x = 100 - 10y
y/x = 70/100
10y = 7x
x = 10y/7
10y/7 = 100 - 10y
10y/7 + 10y = 100
y = 70/8 = 35/4
y = 8.75 m
