How do i test the tensile strenth of a matchstick?
i need to make a truss out of match sticks and i need to no what the tensile strength of the match stick is so i can create a strong enough truss system to hold a 4kg load.
well, usually we test it with tensile test machine, but we always test metals, not match sticks. i don't know if you can put a match stick in the machine. most universities have this machine. below is the website where you can find the machine.
