Pottery Barn Linen
Color problem- Living room? Hallway? Kitchen?
okay, so I just painted my hallway a creamy linen color (called Dusty Lane). I was going to paint my kitchen the same color as I have black aged cabinets, creamy tile, and red and turqouise accents. (the color of kitchen now is grey well it looks country blue). My question is my living room is choc. brown. Im going for a comfy beachy feel (like stuff from Pottery Barn). Should I paint the living room lighter? (You can see each room from the other, open concept.) And also, should I paint all three rooms the same? I don't want anymore grays. Looks blue to me. Thanks, so much!!

my opinion is always go with lighter colors on the walls , and to keep the same color throughout the living and kitchen area, you can add darker things to put on walls or furniture. dark furniture always stands out more with a lighter backround.
