Decorative Window Film

Has anyone Windows Vista Ultimate and a Xbox 360 running media center, can u stream downloaded films to xbox?

I'm using bit Comet, the films play fine on the laptop with media center put will not play on media center on the xbox, Music and Pictures are streaming now problem, the xbox is telling me I need a codec..
Please help?

make sure your console is updated on xbox live. make sure also that whatever it is that you are trying to watch is also playable on windows media player. if its playable on windows media player, its playable on the xbox 360
