Window Film Remover

Can I use carburetor cleaner to remove sticky film from my back windshield? (inside car)?
I had to peel my back window tint off recently, and it left a ton of sticky glue that I can't get off using anything (Goo Gone, nail polish remover, etc). It's the angle (inside the car) that is making it so hard to get off.
Someone suggested carburetor cleaner on a forum, and I was just wondering if this is OK to use inside on my back windshield, or are there any reasons against this? (smell, damage, etc?)
no no no...the spray will get all over the place. Heres what you do: buy a gallon of laquer thinner(high strength) and some chemical (or even those yellow dishwashing gloves).Use a rag to apply it. It is very strong, so if you have an organic vapor respirator use it, otherwise make sure all of the doors are open and you may even use a fan to get the vapors out. If you smoke, save it for later because this stuff will explode....but if will definately remove anything you need. Just be careful of getting it on anything else. Have fun.
